Hi all! We will be moving to the area and chose a custom builder. My question is, living in Florida I knew all the important home requirements, such as hurricane codes, shingles that best withstand Florida weather, etc. but building in Statesville, NC I do not. I want to be able to keep an eye on things and make sure they use the best products for NC building, making sure the basement won't leak, having a fireplace with a blower to help with heating, pointers like that. I hope I'm getting my question accross ok. Thanks for your help. Cheryl
