What are some of the best places to buy and refill propane tanks? I'm always pointed to uHaul but I wanted to know if there's a better deal in Charlotte. I live in Myers Park, if that helps. Thanks in advance!

Southern States in Rock Hill had a sale on a few months back, $8 per tank for a refill. No idea if that is still going on or not, but i filled two tanks up for less than $20.

I second Southern States. They have the lowest prices without advertisements.

You are (mostly) correct. My apologies. I thought he was asking where the best places were to buy new tanks and refilled tanks (swaps).
