Chick fil a has signed a Lease at the Village Commons in Wesley Chapel. They are going over by the Target. They should be open early Summer '09. Dunkin Donuts is still uncertain.

Default I am not excited for that

bummer

We need some real good restaurants in there no chains like Chili's or the like! Hopefully they can make this as upscale and nice as Blakeney and Stonecrest.

Default You know what would be great?

A really good breakfast joint like the original pancake house. They would make a ton of money! There is no where for breakfast out here.

And I know Michael's isn't upscale but one near us would be wonderful too so I don't have to hike it up to the Arboretum!

I posted on this thread yesterday but don't know what happened to it.

I'm glad to see Chick-Fil-A coming to Wesley Chapel. I have two high school students at Weddington High School, and they currently have to drive to Stonecrest or the Arboretum to go to a Chick-Fil-A. There are a lot of times I, too, would like the convenience of grabbing some fast food without driving into Mecklenburg County or down to Waxhaw. I think a fast-food restaurant is overdue, and I'm glad it's a Chick-fil-A, rather than another chain, that is breaking the drought. Of course, I'd also like to see other types of restaurants come into the area also.

McDonalds has already signed on for the front of the JDH project accros from the Harris Teeter. They start construction in January 09.

How are they resolving the water/sewer issues for these new businesses? I heard that is the main reason construction projects in Wesley Chapel have been delayed.

I heard there is a McDonalds coming in over by the new Lowes Market. But what we really need is a nice upscale place..a place like 131 Main would be wonderful, a place with great food at a good price.

Default Yeah I can see how the fast food

would be good for the high school kids.

131 Main would be great... I know that was a rumor before. We just need something really good and fun.
