My title application (or is registration application? I can't remember) has to be signed in front of a notary. Where do you folks go for all your notarizing needs? And more importantly, where can I find a cheap one in the Steele Creek area?

Your bank has notaries.. they will usually do it for free if you are a bank customer. If not they charge a small fee
is this to get your car registered? if so, when we got our car registered here for the first time this past august the lady at the dmv notarized it for us.
I'm a notary, and can tell you that your bank has to have a notary at all times, AND, they can't charge you. Otherwise the fee is a MAXIMUM 5.00. That is state law, EXCEPT for the people at the tag place, they can charge 8.00 i think. That's 5.00 PER signature, if 2 people need to sign, the max is 10.00 etc.
Thanks, everyone. I think I can find something to work with. I'll try my bank this morning. If that doesn't work, there's a UPS store a couple blocks from me - and a library not much further. One of those should work. If not I'll just see if the DMV has one (you think they'd mention that on the website, no?).
