We are also moving into Taylor Glenn in June and have school aged children. Have you been to the community often? We are in Maryland so we have only been there several different times. We went there around Thanksgiving last year and we did see a good number of kids out playing. My daughters are 9 and 16 and they felt real confident that they would like the community..Hope this helps.!!

We too are considering purchasing a home in the Taylor Glenn community. We have a boy who is 12 and a girl who is 9. We really liked to community and the homes are very nice. Our only concern is the Shiloh elementary year round schedule. Does this concern anyone else? Does anyone have any experience with Shiloh?

Good friends of mine have a daughter there and they love it. They were a little concerned about doing it at first, especially since their older child is in high school and not on a year round schedule, but it has worked out great for them. They say their daughter retains more of what she is taught and while she enjoys her 3 weeks off is just about ready to go back right when the 3 weeks ends. Good luck with your decision!

My only concern about being there is when my two kids are at different schools as their is almost a 5 year age difference between them. I like the year round schedule as a transplant because I feel it will give us more opportunities to travel when not everyone else is on school break. Like I said, until the oldest ends up at middle school, etc. We will be checking out Taylor Glenn next month and we have two boys 8 and 4. Best of luck to everyone. We look forward to getting to know some of you.
