2 New Businesses Wesley Chapel (Charlotte, Hickory: leasing agent, construction, restaurant)

Hicklory Tavern Bar and Grill ( 2008 Charlotte Magazine's Best Family Restaurant) has signed a Lease in the Village Commons II on "Main Street" They should be open early summer 09. They will be next to the buildings under construction by Target. Kumon Math & Reading Center has signed a Lease in the first phase (Harris Teeter) of Village Commons and should be open this spring. Wesley Chapel still seems to be of interest to new business despite the economy .... still slow but continued interest....

Lowe's Foods has decided to postpone their opening at the Shoppes at Wesley Chapel until September. They were supposed to open in May. McDonalds is taking possesion of their spot in January.

Chick fil a is full steam ahead finishing thier drawings for their building permit. Should start this winter

Someone just told me Hickory Tavern pulled out....anyone know anything? We really need a restaurant/bar in the area...

Hickory Tavern to break ground next week and complete by October. Confirmed with Aston Properties Leasing Agent, Hickory Tavern Management, and collegues who placed bid on construction of out parcel.

I can't believe they would build one so close to the other one but it will be nice to have a resturant there. I am hoping that they get a few different ones in.
