Charlotte Meet-up group for Out-of-work networking (employment, jobs, community)

Don't know if one exists already, and my suggestion is n/a to my circumstance
as "My future is behind me" but it would seem to me someone should form a meet-up group for those seeking employment in the CLT area. These groups not only lend support to each other but would be important in establishing more contacts and networking in an organized way.

And, maybe this is one good thing that will come out of the thread that got so many people going two nites ago. You know the one!

don't know if there is a physical meetup group, John...but, there are number of online resources. LinkedIN and the various groups...

My church has a small informal networking board, too.

that is actually a good idea, though. Might be nice for people to get together and just hang out with people that know what you are going through.
