Hubby and I are looking to move into a house here soon and we live on the North end of town, not too far from the university. We can spend up to $175,000 but probably will not spend that much. I'm thinking more like $150. We are looking for a neighborhood with some old trees (or at least lots of new trees) that is in a safe area. The age of the house doesn't matter too much. Any suggestions of where to look? A lot of the neighborhoods I've seen are so new that there aren't any trees for privacy and the houses are just squished together. Definitely not for us!

I was going to suggest Highland Creek also, though in that price range there are fewer homes available
