I saw that there was an upcoming education job fair (Apr 25?) for Charlotte and was wondering if it was worth my time(1-2 days personal leave) attending. I am moving to the area in a few months and thought it would be a good idea to get started on the job search. I know teacher job fairs are a quick and easy way to land a job without a lot of interview nonsense (and I would love to avoid all that, if possible). Does anyone have any experience with the one CMS holds?

Also, are the negative things that mire this district still hold true? Are things possibly getting any better? I am currently a physics teacher and would hate to become bitter with the ways CMS does things and have to relocate because of that down the line. I am coming from a large so. FL district so it would actually take a lot for me to become more cynical.

Thanks
