Man, the wind is really whipping around outside. With the ground so completely saturated with rain, it's no wonder that I think I just heard a tree hit the ground. Going outside to see what fell...

It woke me up several times last night. Great I put my trash out last night, as did so many others, I woke up to a rolling tin can and cleaning up the dumped trash this morning. I packed mine pretty good though so it wasn't too bad. I hope my can is still there when I get home.

It's whipping around here, too! DS just called - he was in Lenoir - said it is snowing up there - big white fluffy flakes, LOL. Not sure exactly where he was located . . . but something sure is moving through - my big trees (as in oaks) are even swaying around at the top. I am sitting at my desk watching them. I guess it is gonna get cold . . .

Wonder what happened? Uggghh - nothing I hate more than the power going off. I guess I couldn't live off the grid, LOL. Not without solar panels and generators!!!!

It is so windy! I had to drive to Salisbury today and at first I thought something was wrong with the car, it was jerking around so much!

Tell me about it. My DS called me as I was on my way out to pick up my other DS from school and said "do you know there is a (very large) tree down on our road?" It blocked him from coming home and blocked me from going out. So glad he came home early or my 6 year old would still be stuck at school.
