I am a 32 year-old experienced Bartender relocating to Charlotte to be somewhat closer to some of my family. Can you guys give me some recommendations of your favorite/the hottest nightclubs, hotspots, sportsbars, etc where I should maybe look for work? Some specific spots or even general areas where there is good vibe or "scene" would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a million!
This site below lists all the so called "hot" clubs in town. It should be helpful. And be sure to check the photo section; it will show you the clientele of each spot....

I'm not so sure about that list... I drive by Buck Wild every day on my way to UNCC, and am pretty skeptical about a place with that name right by a college campus... it just sounds like a "girls gone wild" kind of place, although maybe it's not that way at all. The Flying Saucer is good though, great beer selection and an alright atmosphere.
I don't know what the lists says, but if you want the best bars in the best scenes they are on the East side and in NoDa, mostly within a mile of the John Belk.

Uptown has the most bars I would say. I'd also say you'd make more tips there as well. I'd check out the epicenter and the area around bar charlotte, alleycat, & forum.
Any other places uptown feel free to shoot me a message, I've been to most worth going to.
The "hottest" places in Charlotte right now are all at the new EpiCenter which is located in the heart of the city on the corner of Trade and College Streets. Some of the bars there are: Whiskey River, Suite, Black Fin, Howling at the Moon.
