it looks like we are going to be relocating to charlotte this summer. So now we need to get prepped. Need to find a place to rent and nail down a job for me. My husband is the reason we are transferring he received a better position in the company. Any advice about the area and what we should expect would be great. We are moving from the Philadelphia area so I know it will be different.
TIA

Congrats!!! Glad it has worked out for you!

Well . . . I guess price range first. . . any children attending school - as that is probably one of the first things to work out - their school.

no kids. price range 1000 or less if possible. look for a pet friendly, washer/dryer and decent amount of space. Also we dont know a soul in North Carolina so we would like to be in a place where we can network and met new ppl. I will be in school at UNCC and he is working for a financial company. I am looking into teaching as an option as i have posted or something in the field of art/graphic design. So that is where we are at right now.
Thanks again everyone we are really excited about the move.

where to find an apartment?

Congrats! Where will your husband be working? Perhaps the University area would be an option.
I don't know what the pet policy is but The Tradition at Mallard Creek has w/d in each unit. Most apts. here do not, only w/d hook ups.

ETA: You type faster than me, LOL! You answered some of my questions.
