i live in winston salem north carolina right now and moving to charlotte in april or may 2010. my daughter will be starting kindergarden this year and i would like to put her in selwyn elementry school. now my problem is how do i go about finding homes for rental that fall under this school limit. i plann to visit the school next week and idealy would like to see some rentals during the trip.
i have no idea how to go about this.
can anyone help.

It took me a few minutes to search the CMS site, but I finally found this map for you in the "Newcomer" section. This map shows you the attendance area for Selwyn. You'd basically have to find a house on one of those streets. I suggest when you are here next week that you ride around a bit and see if you spot any rentals. Do note that the map shows this years zone in a pink outline, but next year's zone is a bit different and shaded in blue.

Also check Craigs List to see what might be available there, basically look for homes advertised as being in the South Park area. Best of luck to you!
