Am I the only that notices that the odds that a house will have a No Trespassing sign is inversly proportional to the quality of the house/lawn? I drive by one outside of my subdivision every day that is falling apart and has a junkyard in the back and they have a big ol' No Trespassing sign.
What does that sign even accomplish? You can't just shoot someone because you have a sign up. This isn't Texas. Actually, there you don't even need a sign.

Here's the thing, if you DON'T have a no trespassing sign up in your yard and then have a problem with someone coming onto your property to harrass you the police cannot do anything to arrest that person. This happened to a neighbor of mine a few years back when I lived in another part of Charlotte - one neighbor actually went into the other neighbors yard and pulled his pants down to moon her. She called police but they wouldn't do anything to him because she didn't have a "No trespassing" sign in sight!!! She actually had to hang a sign in her back yard and front yard so that if he ever stepped on her property again, THEN they could arrest him. Crazy, huh?

Also, the number/size of "Beware of Dog" signs is inversely proportionate to the size/number of dogs!

I didn't know about the trespassing issue but it doesn't surprise me. It does surprise me that they couldn't get him for flashing or some sex offense. Plenty of mooners these days wind up with a record for life.

He was a air traffic controller and loony as they come! Since she was the only one who saw him pull him pants down, it was her word against his! Honestly part of the reason we moved was to get away from him
