Reccomendations on lamp stores (Charlotte, Matthews: sale, Home Depot, price) - North Carolina (NC) - City-Data Forum

We need a few floor lamps - the selections at most of the furniture stores and at Lowes seem to be a bit limited and we can't find anything we really like. Does anyone know of a store that just sells lamps - one that would have a really large selection since that's all they sell?

I cannot vouch for this store, as I have not purchased from them. But, I seem to remember driving past it at one point. Here you go - hope this helps!

I went to the Lamp Gallery and priced out a ceiling fan, :eek! For that price they got to keep it, jesh. I don't remember seeing too many floor lamps but then again I was looking at ceiling fans.

Try Homegoods too at Blakeney, it's not a huge selection but they may have just what your looking for and they get new stuff in all the time. Of course don't forget to check Home Depot and Lowe's on line.

Lighting and Bulbs Unlimited in Matthews - I think they have a lot of nice stuff in there

That was the store, Lighting and Bulbs not the Lamp Gallery that I went to. They wanted an arm and a leg for the ceiling fan. I was looking at the same model that we had purchased in CA. Luckily the store in CA has a website and hopefully I can catch a good sale again.
