@ the OP, Chicago owns NYC in the hot dog and pizza area.

Anyways, I voted for Charlotte needs one. I've only been here a month, but I have't found that signature item yet. Overall though, I have liked the restuarants alot.

I think it would be the 3-veggie lunch plate (including mac & cheese and served up at a diner owned by a Greek family). ;^)

Chicago for deep dish, NYC for large thinner and more greasy but good pizza....CA for wood fired pizza, my favorite.
