It's the old Wendy's. I haven't been but would like to try it. First sanitation grade is 94.

Based on the look of it from the outside, I would not set foot in there. In fact, I try to spend as little time on the part of South Blvd. as possible.

I can't say I blame you, but I don't work far from there. I work with a woman from Haiti though and Dominican/Haitian food is very good. At least everything she makes is!

I know they have some plantains. They are almost (not quite) as good as fried pickles. Another food I never had until I moved south,

Cool We Loved It!!!

Ok, I just returned from dinner at Punta Cana. The inside was clean and well decorated in a simple style. The tables are solid wood with padded dining room chairs, very comfortable. Heavy polished stainless silverware was set on the tables. Romantic Spanish ballads played softly though the ceiling speakers.
Our waitress was friendly and accommodating as she took our order. I had roast pork with onions and sides of green plantains and beans and rice. My wife had a steak smothered in onions with sweet plantains and black beans. I also had a small side salad. We both had a soft drink.
When the food came I was amazed at the size of the portions. Everything had a wonderful flavor and needed little or no seasoning. Is it gourmet? No, but it was very good. My only disappointment was the green plantains were a little on the dry side but still tasty. The other was the thin cheap paper napkins, but there were plenty of them. Cost? $26.50 plus tip. Wow! We will go back for sure.
Restaurant Address is: 5230 South Blvd. Tel # is: 704 5293599

You all need to go to Delicioso Colombianos on South Blvd, next to NC state inspection and across from the Boat Place. The food is delicious and authentic! Small place but worth every dime. I've been there probably at least 100 times, I should be getting a punch card soon to earn free food there ! lol Try it out !!!! the Entrana is yummy and so is Pandeja Piesa !!!
