Does anyone know of any safe and affordable (200K or less) neighborhoods that are zoned for either Providence or Myers Park High Schools?

I honestly can't think of ANY that fit the above criteria. If anyone has any ideas, that would be great.

YES, run, don't walk, they won't last long. There are two currently for sale under $200,000 and two just over $200,000 in Settlers Landing (zoned for Providence). Good luck!!

There are several houses in Raintree right under $200k ($179k, 184k etc). That is district for Providence.

There is one in Battle Forest for $209k. It's zoned for MP. The other posts are great ideas, too. Good luck!

Thanks for the input! I was under the impression that both Settler's Landing and Battle Forest were typically higher priced. Is it common for those neighborhoods to have prices this low? Raintree may be in option, but honestly, being inside 51 is more desireable.

It is not typical to find prices under $200,000 in these areas - somebody's loss can be your gain. I'm betting these are either people who have lost their jobs and must leave Charlotte (necessitating a quick home sale) or house flippers who need to unload homes quickly in this recession. Good luck!

Add Willowmere and McKee Woods to the list for single family. If you would consider townhomes, there (obviously!) will be more options.
