Hi All!

My significant other just returned from overseas to Fayetteville and I was wondering whats the best way to get there from the Mooresville/Davidson area? Is it 73 to 24 or 485 to 74? Help!

I used to take 74. IF you mapquest it just look for ways around some of the congested areas.

Really no good way to get there.

Whoa boy are you in good company-- I have to go there for work and kind of dread the drive. Blech. So I mapped out the routes on mapquest and here's what I came up with from Cornelius:

Shortest time: 73 to get onto 85 N (in Concord); 85N to 421 to 87. 3hours, 17 minutes, 172 miles. *You are on highways so the time is faster even though it is more miles.

Shortest distance: 74 to 211 to NC 5. 4 hours, 19 minutes, 130 miles. *Slower drive time because of the speed up-slow down nature of 74 and 211 and NC 5.

So is 24 definitely a no-go?
