Ok, so call me vain but I'd call myself quite neurotic. I've been using the same hair colorist forever here in NY. We're moving to Charlotte in August. I need a colorist who will do my color very natural and uses Goldwell. Anyone know where the best place to go is in Charlotte that can accomodate?

I'm pretty sure they use Goldwell at 90 Degrees Salon. I haven't been there, but would be interested to hear how it is. They also carry Bumble & Bumble products, which I use, so that's how I heard about it. They're in a small shopping center across from Stonecrest on Rea Rd. just south of 485.
Here is the website.

My2Jayzz - I agree about Planet 21 - though I go to the Fountains location. I am so picky about my hair color and I love how they do it! I sent you a DM too!

I actually go to Planet 21 at the Fountains, too! Don't know for sure what color line they use, but the services I've had there have been excellent. Going tomorrow, actually. Can't wait!

if you go to the Fountains then use Cali for color...I however like the arboretum better for my hair cuts and color I use Leann one of the Owners who cuts my hair...and I wish I remembered the girl who colors...

Use Nikki at Planet 21 for the cut, and I cant remember the name of the gurl who colors over their either, but depending on where you move there is also a Planet 21 in downtown Waxhaw.

I just googled it, and I found two more salons that use Goldwell for color in Charlotte besides 90 Degrees.

Daniel Davis Salon Daniel Davis Salon

New Creations Salon www.newcreationssalon.com

I can't vouch for either salon, but they do use what you're looking for.
Happy searching!

Default Run don't walk to Lydia Lusk for Goldwell Color at Accent Hair Design

I just moved from Charlotte to Tampa. I have NOT been able to find anyone to replace Lydia Lusk at Accent Hair Design. Lydia is a certified Goldwell Color Educator. She is THE BEST IN TOWN for color. Her new salon - (she just opened on her own) in right outside of Charlotte in Huntersville. The website is Welcome to Accent Hair Design!

Do not get caught up in the salon experience - there are tons of high end salons in Charlotte. Drive to see Lydia - you will NOT BE SORRY.
I am flying to Charlotte in July to have her do my hair. I have ended up with ORANGE HAIR in FL and Lydia is the only one who could correct it for me.
Tell her Julie from Tampa sent you - she is THE BEST!
