we go to university.... Caught the dealer on independence charging my wife for the same 'repair' on consecutive visits. When I called them about it they stammered, sputtered and refunded our money. They're crooks as far as I'm concerned.

I've been to both. I went to University first for a warranty problem on a new C70, they were like keystone cops trying to figure out problem. Volvo of CLT was not much better. The 'relationship ' began ugly...I bought car from an Atlanta dealer as the CLT dealers would deal on price. The owner indicated that he wouldn't be able to give me the type of service that he gives to customers he sold car to. In the first 6 mos. of car ownership I had a major warranty issue, it took me a few visits but they finally persevered and got factory rep on issue and eventually solved problem. Since then I had a recent issue w/leather seats which (1-1/2 yrs later) they ended up replacing my leather seats so in my mind they have scored some points with me. I think just about every dealership has skeletons. I haven't had good experience w/Hendricks dealers (BMW+Lexus). Gotta watch all of them them like a hawk.
