I see the Hollister subdivision is close to an airport. Any issues with that?

You mean the Monroe Airport? No, and it isn't even THAT close. You'll see a little plane fly overhead every now and then, but there is no problem w/ noise.

I don't live in Hollister, but I live fairly close to there..no problems w/ the airport (I think it's for private planes only tbh).

The airport you are thinking of close to Hollister is the Aero Plantation private air strip. About 8 or 10 planes, maybe a couple of more. All small aircraft, nothing bigger than a 4 or 6 seater. Never hear'em, and won't bother you at all when you do see them.

note: The aero runway is roughly parallel to Twelve Mile Creek Road, so the takeoffs and landings are not over Hollister.

2nd note: see this thread about Hollister if you are thinking about buying there:

Thanks for the responses. On the map I couldn't tell how close it was and if it was a real active airport.
