I have gone to Eddie's Place a few times over the past couple of weeks. I have LOVED every meal that my wife and I have had there. The place is never crowded, but always has a good, steady business. The menu choices are varied and I have had everything from breakfast to dinner there and it is all good.

My wife, who is a vegetarian can always find something to eat and has always had a wide selection of "off the menu" or "specials" to choose from. She said the Salmon Cakes were the best she has ever had!

The service never misses a beat and is always first rate!

We go to the location in Toringdon near Earthfare in Ballantyne but they have 2 locations.

In this economic times, I feel it is necessary that we celebrate and support a locally owned, non chain restaurant.

I don't really do brunch. But, I've been there for breakfast, lunch and dinner at different times throughout the week and weekend. So, you have a 98 % chance of it not being crowded when you go.

How did you like the food?

I love Eddie's Place, it's one of my favorite restaurants. I always order the ribeye steak sandwich with hash browns (no onions). Yummy!

OT - but this really caught my eye....if she's a vegetarian, what are the salmon cakes made of? Fake fish?

Yuuup. ^^^

I did have some mock crab cakes from Earth Fare the other day. If this restaurant served something like that, I want to know! There aren't many vegetarian places around here.

In the good ole days, 150 years before the use of Google search, a person would be shot dead in the center of town when calling someone's wife a pescetarian.

LOL
