Any recommendations for lawn care? We live just a little south of the city and are looking for a reasonably priced company / lawn care provider.

TruGreen Chem Lawn is who we use. We live in Huntersville and that's what our realtor recommended.

I'll quote a post I made in another thread a few days ago...

I've had excellent service from them. They are also at the top of the Angie's List ratings. They've completely turned my yard around in well under a year. I have one of the best looking lawns in the neighborhood. I currently have 1/3 acre lot with several natural areas and a fence. They charge me $120/month for the weekly mow/trim/blow, and $50 per application (5-6 times per year) for weed and feed.

When I think about the number of hours I used to spend taking care of my yard every Saturday. that price is well worth it to me.

P.S. - The $40 a year I spend on Angies List is the best money I spend. I've used almost a dozen companies from the list and have never had a bad experience.

I like Reitzel Brothers -- they have really good plans where they combine various services into one.
