Whats funny is I had State Farm in SoFla, I am using State Farm up here, feels like a different compnay they are actually helpful.

I have bombarded them with questions, I have had everyone answered to my surprise.

In Miami to get one question answered by state farm would take an act of congress.

Oh and welcome to Charlotte

Coming from South FL and moving to Charlotte... I can give you this advice:

NATIONWIDE INSURANCE! PERIOD! Jill Baker 704-664-9111

They hold policies for both our cars, the boat, the main house, our rental condo, and life insurance. Great rates!

We used Liberty Mutual in New Jersey and were happy to discover that their fees are very competitive, here in Charlotte. We priced out many other insurance companies once we moved here and decided to stay with LM. Allstate? Never again!

Had State Farm and Nationwide. Wound up with Erie who cut our premiums in half. Easy to work with. Never a problem.

I really think Nationwide is terrible. I have used them for years and recently had to put a claim in. Terrible service etc etc. I am moving everything I have over to State Farm. A friend of mine owns a restoration business and deals with insurance companies all the time. He touts Farm Bureau FWIW.

We used the Matthews office of Allstate for everything. The nicest couple ever run it. They more than doubled our coverage for less than half of our previous premiums. Good luck.
