I was wondering if anyone could provide me with some contact information for Banking recruiters? My family and I have made a decision to move to the South Charlotte area. I have made a few contacts in the past couple of weeks but more would be helpful. I have worked in banking for the past 9 years as a Commercial Loan Officer and Business Banker. Your help is greatly appreciated!

RidefreeHD, have you had any luck with the banking recruiters? My family is also hoping to relocate to Charlotte (northern) and I've made a few contacts in the retail banking industry but nothing too substantial.

I have had some success as well but I have been holding off because my house is on the market here in NJ but the market is very tough right now. I really do not want to make the move until I have my home sold. I would move sooner for the right opportunity. Best of Luck.

I know Bank of America, Wachovia and I forget the 3rd (Suntrust) are still actively hiring. Are you looking on the retail side (it appears)?

I am looking for a Business Development position as a Business Banker or a Commercial Loan Officer. I have been working with a couple of recruiters but I do not think they took me seriously as I did not have my house sold. But as of Agust 1st I am free from New Jersey. Thank you for the information.

Why would they not be taking you seriously? Did you give them an impression that you weren't serious? Just curious why you'd say that.

I believe it was because I had a home to sell before i could make the move. I started this process about 6 months ago. I was also told if you do not have a NC address then do not even bother becuase the larger instituitons have so many resumes to review that they have no time to worry about when you could possibly move there.
