Anyone who went, applied, had any contact with them from an employment stand point...

Could you please respond or DM me? I have some specific questions. Thanks so much.

Well that makes me feel better.

I went late in the day and they were no longer doing the orientations. I did speak with someone who went over my qualifications and she 'said' I was a perfect fit and they would be hiring immediately. She said to expect a call soon, but nothing so far. I also wanted to cover my bases so I filled out the online application packet and faxed my resume to the general HR number.

But thanks for at least telling me that, at least I am not the only one still waiting.

I am happy to say that I attended the job fair, on Friday morning, and had 2 interviews. I was just hired Friday. I will be starting on Monday July 6, 2009. My advise to all attended the job fair, and had 2 interviews, to volunteer. That is how I got in. Call or go to the local office, and tell them that you would like to volunteer, and that you would like the Director of volunteers number. When you start volunteering, just put a bug in the Director ear. Let her know that you attended the job fair, and that you had 2 interviews.

I wish you all the best. I really can feel your pain, I have been out of work for over a year.

I'm sorry you had a bad experience. I can't say anything bad about NACA. I attended the job fair, last month. I had 2 interviews, and I volunteered. That's what really helped me. In order to work for NACA, you have to have patients, and do your part. You just can't sit home, and expect things to happen. You have to have an aggressive approach, and don't give up. I have heard a lot of goods things, about NACA, and how they helped a lot of people.
