I grew up in that area, when it was cow fields and houses far apart from one another. I used to ride my bike and walk to the neighbor's all the time, safe because there were so few cars. Sure has changed out there!
The neighborhood I'm in now, between Plaza-Midwood and NoDa, got a 67. I'd score it higher - they didn't count anything in NoDa, which is only a 15-minute walk for me. 20 minutes to Amelie's Bakery! That in itself should make it a 100!!

Lots of fatsos here? When is the last time you were in Boston? Some real porkers there, I can assure you. My score is 82 in Cornelius. Why would you move into an area without sidewalks if you like to walk?

A 60 for our address in The Greens at Birkdale Village which is .4 miles from the roundabout(which is surrounded by bars and restaurants). One block closer is a 72. Twelve less decreases the EtOH level prior to arriving home. Plus the dog can always guide me.

I typed in my address (400 N. Church St) and it is -98- out of 100.
Thats why I LOVE living Uptown!

I got a 60, but I would consider that to be very low. I can walk to a combination of 75 stores and restaurants, three banks and all of my medical needs in less than 10 minutes - all sidewalk.

Mine is a 32, but they are missing too many businesses and other scoreables. For instance, they said our local fitness is a Karate place, but we have a Y location closer to us than any other kind of fitness place. They also said there's a gas station in the middle of our subdivision. (That must be against HOA rules, huh? ) So, I guess our area is too new to be scored even close to its actual value on this site.

I feel the same way - in my book my neighborhood is at least a 75
