Who or what organization would I contact to get a traffic light changed? The problem is the light on South Blvd. and Bland St. When I’m heading toward Uptown on South at 6:30 in the morning the light is ALWAYS red at Bland St. This wouldn’t be a huge deal if Bland St. was a main road, but it leads into an apartment complex when it crosses South Blvd. There is never….I mean NEVER anyone going on Bland St. across South Blvd.

This may sound really petty, but why should I have to stop at a light every day for a minute or two for no reason. It’s almost like they have the timing backwards and the Bland St. light should be red the majority of the time. There are always other cars sitting on South Blvd. at the light so I’m sure it bothers others. It's just one of those small things that gets to you after a while.

I will say in the afternoon this doesn’t seem to be an issue.

I would check with the City Manager's Office. Here is a site with their contact info. Charlotte Mecklenburg Contacts (http://www.charmeck.org/Contacts/Home.htm - broken link)

Just a guess on my part.
