We also looked at Marvin Creek and liked it. We also saw some homes in Longview. Does anyone know if there are any Jewish families living in either Marvin Creek or Longview? If so, can you let us know. We want a mixed area where my kids will feel comfortable.

I cant be sure on how many jews live in Marvin Creek, but there are fewer than more in this whole area. I have a jewish friend and she complains how the nearest temple is up on Providence about 20 minutes. The schools dont get off on jewish holidays and she complains about religious undertones in the schools (not recognizing jewish).
How did you like Longview. I never went in there when we were looking because I thought it would be out of my reach in addition to the the high monthly fees. I chose Marvin Creek and love it. It is a nice community with lots of children and we use the pool alot in the summer. Another area I like is firethorne. Today you can get a steel in the custom home areas.

well we are jewish and have no complaints..my son actually has quite a few jewish kids that he goes to school with and has in his classes...I will say there are certainly more jews now than in the past where we live...we arent religious, and i did the 20 min drive and well it is a piece of cake so to speak...we have people that take their kids to hebrew school 2x a week from where we live and also say it isnt a big deal..However if u are looking for a huge jewish population u find it in marvin creek, or the surrounding developments...I can tell u there are a decent amount..I also have personally found alot of the kids are 1/2 jewish and 1/2 something else....so u do never know...good luck in your search...
