Would I be considered a northerner even though I grew up in Cali? I mean I talk exactly like a northerner.

I wouldn't count on getting rid of the accent either. My Mom is from Georgia, lived in Ohio for years, and still has an accent

My husband makes 6 figures down here and doesn't even have a degree, just some finance certifications. Lol.

He got a job before the rescession tho obviously.
