Which specific neighborhood do you want to know about?

You cannot judge by zip code in this city. What subdivision are you looking at? Even the very most desirable areas of Charlotte are in zip codes that happen to include really bad apartment complexes...

Agree - hard to make generalizations by area code - but I am going to anyways! The north-most parts of 28270 are a bit of a sweet spot in my opinion - relatively close to uptown (8 mi?) so it offers better commute than Ballantyne, but just distant enough that you don't pay premiums of South Park / MP. Great accessibility to shopping (Colony Place, SouthPark, etc) and all the amenities of south Charlotte, and generally great schools (Elizabeth Lane, Providence Springs, Providence HS). Many nice neighborhoods to chose from, too !
