Lawn Care (rental, houses, landscaping)

Hi! Can anyone tell me what monthly lawn care costs? Small front & back lots (0.37acre incl 5500 sqf home) in South Park area. The landscaper said he normally charge about $180.00 per month for year round mowing (weekly), aeration, seeding and an annual fertilization package. It sounds too high to me. It is our first single family home; I have no idea about landscaping. If anybody can give some idea, it would be thankful. : )

IMO, this is a fair price for the services listed.

You probably won't need weekly services in the winter months (depending on rye content of your lawn).

I have a couple rental houses and I pay my landscaper $40/yard/visit. My yards are considerably smaller and that price doesn't cover fertilizing/aerating/seeding.

Well we get charged per mow, which works out 'cuz w/ the lack of rain we usually only get weekly mows in the spring and fall. It's $30 to mow and $5 for each addtl service like spraying the weeds and stuff.
