Sara - yep, that's why I said they may not have wanted to bother with paying for or going thru the organic certification process. HOWEVER, you REALLY need to trust your farmer if you are paying organic prices and want only organic produce. This has been abused from time to time. I'm all for avoiding the bureacracy of the certification process; but, I also want to make sure I'm not paying higher prices to someone with good intentions.

I heard there is a Trader Joes opening on Mallard Creek Rd in North Charlotte. Has anyone else heard about this?

Yep the sign is already up. it's near 485 and Mallard Creek. I got hired PT at new Earth Fare in South Park
