Deluge in Weddington, poor DH ran into the post office and when he went to come out it was pouing buckets, coming down sideways. He took about 5 steps from cover to the car and was soaked. At least I don't have to pull the hose out now to water.
Ran outside to gather up some seat cushions that hubby had left on the driveway (glad we don't have a HOA, hee hee) . . . and to roll up car windows (son and fiancee arrived and had left the windows down) cause I was sure we were gonna get a deluge.
Well, it hardly rained enuff to wet a hoppy toad's behind. (Yes, that is an old "saying" around these parts, LOL).

I headed back to Winston-Salem @ 5:30 or so for the weekend, taking 485 from Pineville. It was deluge, dry, big drops, sunny.....deluge, dry, big drops, sunny.....Etc. all the way up to Mount Holly when it finally stopped, the sun came out, and it was sunny and/or hazy the rest of the way up. Very strange!
Just had a big crack of thunder over Weddington, there goes another one. Anyone else hear any rumblings?
