Hi,
Can anyone tell me what the pay rate is for a reception position in a hospital or a unit secretary? Also the pay rate for reception at a car dealership. I recently visited Charlotte and fell in love with the city. And how cold does it get in the winter and how hot in the summer.
depending on your job skills and job history and what level of an assistant you are but the average is about 34k for administrative assistant
The weather data posted above gives you a good idea except the humidity add about 3 to 5 degrees degrees usually not a concern til july thru august.

Maybe with a great deal of experience, with an AA or BA, in a financial institution or the like, but for the positions the op asked about, more like 22K and on a good day.

Much appreciated
I've been checking that out for my sister, mostly in the area of 27K. Some more some less.
I froze my butt off this past Feb, March and even April but I'm from Phx so my opinion counts for nothing. 60 degrees is cold for me.
Mine is paid approx what Sheena stated. The car dealer ships are having a tough time everywhere as you are probably aware there are fields of cars sitting all over. I would not even venture to guess the salary as most are lucky to last 3 months in this area.
Temp companies might pay that, with administrative experience.
Car dealerships probably have high turn over. Call Centers might be a good work options, however, they usually have high turn over too ,but you'd be on the phone.
If you go the TEMP route, tell them you want ADMIN jobs, because they will not place you if you tell them receptionist.
