Oh yes...the "plant". I'm sure the Dems can plant someone in Sue's town hall dressed like Hitler. Have to keep the media leaches happy and show that the voice of dissent is just crazy folk.

I really, really want to go to the one tomorrow in Cornelius, but it looks like I may have a scheduling conflict. I'd really like to tell my story publically and to hopefully show someone like Sue how badly our current healthcare system in broken and how badly it fails many of us on a regular basis.

I wish you could tell your story to a national audience. It is (unfortunately) the perfect example of how folks can "fall thru/ the cracks" in our healthcare system. There is no safety net at all for families dealing with chronic illness and who are not destitute. A man should not have to give up everything (including one's retirement $$$) to qualify for Medicaid benefits for his wife - b/c insurance simply won't cover the care.

There are so many people out there who are dealing with catastrophic health situations . . . it could happen to any of us - yet we have no recourse and qualify for no assistance.

I hope Congress will actually work together to find solutions to healthcare access - and the cost of healthcare. No one should have to go thru what you have, Superk.

As it is now, we are planning to attend that one in G-town.

SuperK, while I don't know your story I wanted to say that you can contact her office.
The Gastonia office is REALLY good about contacting you. We have sent many letters to her.

I've written to her office twice and have called her DC office at least once. From what it appears from yesterdays town hall, it looks like this will be a mess. Sigh.

I hope this picture is allowed. I saw it today and it put some things in perspective for me.

Well, I was in line to tell my story until 10:30 when I decided that I needed to get out and get home, since I needed to be back up at 2 for work this morning.
