We just got back from an overnight at the Great Wolf Lodge in Concord. We had a blast!! We were at the waterpark all evening and than stayed in a 2 bedroom suite at a really great price. It was a fun, quick get away close to home. I'd highly recommend it!

Did you do/see the MagiQuest in the lodge? We did the one at Myrtle Beach, but I've heard that the MagiQuest at Great Wolf Concord is smaller. We were just curious and wanted some first hand information before we drive up there.

Glad to hear it's worth an overnight trip. We just might have to do that once it get cooler and the pools close.

I did see it and it looked really fun...we weren't there long enough and plan to stay longer next time. My kids are fish so it was hard to drag them away from the water. It did look small...like an activity you might just do while you are there and maybe not take a special trip for just that...but I could be wrong.

Can someone clear something up for me: I have read that the water park is only for people staying at the resort, but have also heard that you can buy just a water park pass. Which is it?

My understanding is that you do have to be a guest of the resort to use the water park, unless you are a Cabarrus county resident, they can use the place for a reduced rate.

Thanks. I thought that was the appeal of the place, no outsiders.

No "outsiders"?? Did you perhaps mean to say, "no general public", like at a public pool??
