So where would a 30 yr old guy in Charlotte on business go to find some fun older women to flirt with in the Charlotte or Charlotte suburb area? Casual crowd...maybe some 45+yr old women that want a few drinks bought for them and a few laughs on a Wednesday night in September?

any recommendations?

Ballantyne! Villa Antonio or Village Bistro...Wednesdays Mix at Six. That's where it's at... if you're so-so looking, don't bother-if you're good looking and charming-they'll come to you. Hell-you may just be cougar bate.

+1 on Cosmo's in Ballantyne. Wife and I had dinner there on a Wednesday night (1/2 price martinis!) and enjoyed watching the scene.

Does this term not bother anyone? I find it very demeaning - so "on the prowl." Ick.

This is one reason my friends and I just don't feel comfortable having a "girl's night out" cause we don't want guys assuming we are out like predators looking for men to hit on. So annoying!!!!

Interestingly, with older men, they don't hit on groups of women out in the evening unless a woman flirts first and gives the signal she is interested. With so many of these younger guys on the make, they are often less than subtle - it is disheartening. They seem to just assume that women out together are on the make.

So a word of advice to you potential "cougar trackers" - don't make any assumptions. You may be great eye candy and a terrific conversationalist as well, but there are a lot of us out here who feel demeaned and disrespected by the attention.

Don't worry anifan you will not get any of my attention.

The term was not meant to be demeaning, just in a short txt society its a quick way to distinguish a demographic.

We are getting away from my original question...all i am lookin for is a good hang out area without the 22yr old sluts....
