I think jitterbug is primarily an emergency-use only phone...????

I was thinking the same thing... that it's an emergency use phone only. Have you looked into Cricket? My teenage daughter uses Cricket... no contracts, and I don't have to worry about any minutes... as she gets local/long distance, text messaging, vm, internet all unlimited for about $40 a month. Again she is a teenager so that's all she needs. So far the service has been great...

Coverage has been great... haven't had any dropped calls, no issues when traveling either.

Depends on what you want. You have to pay a monthly fee for jitterbug plus the cost of the phone. I prefer the pay as you go option and a low-cost phone from Target (Virgin Mobile - $20+) but I don't use my cell phone often.

Ditto, I thought Sunny was looking into taking a dance class. You just never know until you open the thread, LOL.
