So, it sounds like there are a few of us in the same general age range doing the same thing! We should have a new to Charlotte, single, female meetup in the next few weeks!
I actually have a little bit of time. My company is giving me the option between charlotte and atlanta - but based on my research and tons of personal recommendations i'm leaning more towards charlotte but will be visiting both places. I'm scheduled to be moving in october so i have a few months to plan and weigh out options.
Anu2- I see you are from Norwalk. My company's headquarter's is in Norwalk and I graduated from Quinnipiac!

Nascar9girl- Good luck with your move. I'm in the same boat. I'm 28, single and moving to the Charlotte area in the Fall from Hell (south Florida). I know I'm going to miss my family but I feel like if I don't move now I may never and I really think this is the best thing for me. Have you been to the area yet? I've settled on Huntersville- pretty laid back and close enough to everything I want ( the lake and the city). I just need to find a place but I'm pretty sure I'll end up renting a house b/c I have pets. Again, Good luck and Go Kasey!!

Small world. I am moving from Southbury, CT about 35 minutes outside of Norwalk. I much prefer Charlotte to Atlanta, but you need to research this on your own.

Good luck in your search and let us know what you decide to do.
