Hey guys, we have tickets to the Gaslight Anthem Tomorrow, and it will be our 1st time at the Tremont so I have a few questions..........

1) Is there plenty of parking?

2) Are all of the seats general Admission, (our tickets don't have seat #'s)?

3) If all of the seats are GA, what time should we go for a 7PM show (doors open at 6PM).

4) Are there any seats/sections not as good as others?

5) How are the acoustics?

6) How does the Tremont rate vs the other venues in the area?

Thanks in advance.....

1. Ive never had a problem parking. A few times Ive parked right next to the building.
2. Yes. There are no seats, its just an empty warehouse.
3. Depends.
4. Depends.
5. Youre never more than 50 feet or so away from the speakers. The acoustics are fine.
6. Depends.

you're thinking too much about it...

It's a much loved s**t hole. Like the Milestone but nicer. But still a s**t hole.

The acoustics suck, parking is (usually) fine, show up when it's convenient.

What?? No way! It's streamlined sure, but it's no s**hole. Now the Milestone is, & always has been a s**hole. Ive got a buddy who back in 86 shimmied up the drain pipe to look in the 2nd story once, and he said there was nothing but bird poo and squirrels nests up there. How that place hasn't been torn down yet is a complete mystery to me, because it was a health hazard 23 years ago.

IMNSHO, Tremont has kind of gone to hell since Penneye sold it. The caliber of bands has gone south, and the name no longer holds the prestige it did "back in the day".

Parking? Well, speaking as someone who was a bouncer there for 5 years, I'd suggest parking inside the fenced in area if they will allow you. If not, try to park as close to the building as is possible, as the surrounding neighborhood sucks pretty bad, and you run a high chance of your car getting broken into the farther away you park. If you have to park across the street, park where there is lots of light. it was always my experience working there, that we had less problems with cars parked in the highly lit areas than we did with the ones parked waaaay down Tremont avenue.
