Cheer up man. The one in Richmond has a taller peak, but after the first 305 ft drop, it is "low" and fast. The one at Carowinds has a shorter first drop (232 ft) but it has 7 "camel hump" peaks throughout the ride. The top speed for the one in Richmond is about 90 mph (80 mph for Carowinds). I think the one at Carowinds might actually be the more popular ride (but nobody knows for sure until they are both built). With that said, ride them both and judge for yourself.

I moved here from Canada and they built one like the Intimidator there at Wonderland. The same new seats and all, not your typical either. It is called the Behemoth. There are all sorts of videos and stuff online so you can google. The only difference is color and this one curves some before the bunny hops. The first peak is straight down and all air time. I like the fact the seats raised and spaced wide apart. There is all leg room and no where for feet and legs but air.

Its a different sort of coaster but no flips or anything. It is smooth as silk though!

After the initial drop, the one in Richmond looks rather meh. I like the one at Carrowinds much better.

every time an amusement park has the highest, fastest, etc coaster they build a bigger one somewhere else. that's just the business. try not to be aggravated over something that just is the way it is.

^^ That's it! I went to Scarowinds and parked right beside it. Standing next to it, . I love coasters and I want to ride but I'm not sure I have the guts. I've never been on one like that.

Don't be "scurred"; it's just a little coaster! If it makes you feel any better, I'll let my 6 year old hold your hand throughout the ride LOL. He is just now tall enough to ride the "big stuff" and he is not "scurred" of ANYTHING!!!

LOL! I see a lot of little kids I see at Carowinds, just barely tall enough to ride. They are so brave. There's no way I could have been on a coaster at that age Initially I was hoping The Intimidator would be another floorless roller coaster like Top Gun/Afterburn. I really like that kind.
