Default So many...

We like to distribute our cash locally as much as possible. Here are just a few in the Plaza Midwood area:

Inner Harbor Seafood Market - 3019 Central Ave. -- they carry numerous types of fish and the best part is, it is FRESH!

Design Services of Charlotte - 1315 Central Ave. -- we just received our re-upholstered sofa back from them, AMAZING WORK!

The Cake Shoppe in Mint Hill. I am a cake decorator and thats where I get a lot of my cake supplies. It's a nice small family business with good prices. You can even rent character pans.

Metro........Thanks for giving each address of the shops that you support...so much easier to invision where they are.....so that I can go check them out when I pass by their area. It also helps to tell a little about them....as some shop names really don't tell you what they are all about.

I personally like the Sleepy Poet on South Blvd...between Woodlawn and Scaleybark (left side if you are going towards town). They have a huge selection of antiques...gifts....whatever you could possibly want. It takes about an hour or more, just to go through it....there are a lot of dealers that have their own little areas...and they are continually changing things out...and putting new things in. Last week I personally purchased a Santa riding a Rooster...so cute...it is going to be a nice gift for my daughter who collects Santas and Chickens! Can you imagine...only $18.00!!

In front of the Sleepy Poet is Consignments on South....the lady that runs it....her name is Ruth, and she is doing a super job with her shop....even if you don't find anything to buy...its just fun to look!!

One of my favorites is the Eldorado Outpost on hwy. 109. It is in the metro , but not in town. They serve a reasonably priced breakfast that beats the socks off of other full size/service restaurants. Drawback being a 5:30A.M. EST departure time to arrive by 8. Once you fill your belly , the trip will be forgotten.
