The Thirsty Beaver in Plaza Midwood is incredible, as is Snug Harbor and The Penguin. Visited them all recently on a trip to Charlotte and will be frequenting them all when I relocate in January. Mark and Brian own the Beaver and will be bar-tending as well, tell them their gals from Michigan say HI and we will be back soon!

Check out Tony's...Moores Chapel Loop Rd. beside Riverview Inn....west Wilkinson Blvd. just before the bridge going into Gaston County. Been there for decades. Tell em I sent you.
