My nephew is here visiting and I am wondering what the best place to go/thing to do on New Years Eve with a 12 year old boy.

Suggestions are greatly appreciated!!!

At your house with a pizza and some sparkling cider. You can even rent a Wii for the weekend and play untill the ball drops. Kids are easy to please!

^Yep.
Home would be my suggestion, too. I'd decorate the place with balloons and streamers, have lots of snacks, and plan to watch some tv or dvd's according to his tastes.

To help with planning - ask him. Maybe he just wants to sit around and play Trivial Pursuit! Who knows?

If you want to go out the only child friendly event I know is First Night Charlotte in uptown.
