This is excellent news for Charlotte...but yes you are also right as well....Hooray for the corporate jobs, but no manufacturing jobs for the blue collar workers. I am hopiing our 'Powers that be" are working on securing Blue Collar employment for this area.

ill let this post slide but this is an english only site is that German. Iwill translate and post if anyone would like.

Hey 160 jobs is good maybe they will have positive results then maybe manufacturing next
and maybe they can revitalize some of the old textile plants too.
Lets be optimistic for 2010

Those are obviously jobs posting that failed to translate/be translated into English (from Swedish?). Being that Husqvarna is obviously not a US-based company, I fail to see how this is surprising.

FYI for anyone interested there is also a "Senior Buyer" position in Charlotte advertised under their job opportunities.

LOL, I know what you mean. I heard the president on the news and it seems -he pronounced it "HUSK-VERNA". I was like, WTH??? But this is great news.
