Animal Walk Parade returns to uptown today

Animal Walk Parade returns to uptown today - CharlotteObserver.com (http://www.charlotteobserver.com/breaking/story/1204983.html - broken link)

Ringling Bros has a horrible record on animal care. Don't support animal abuse, elephant neglect, trauma, dangerous "tricks", etc. Just google "Ringling Bros elephant abuse" and you will see the reality that goes on behind the big tent. Not a positive way to take the kids out for fun.

I just never liked it when the circus invaded Madison Square Garden during the NHL playoffs every spring. That sucked.

The first post is a pretty libelous statement. But I add my thanks also. I might go see it for myself. How do they treat the clowns is what I want to know.

I agree with CLTKing. It may not be the popular viewpoint but what's right is not always popular. And what's popular is not always right.

Agreed, CLTking, thanks for the illuminating post. Hopefully, the more compassionate people of this area will refrain from patronizing Ringling Bros.

Agreed. We'll wait and see if Big Apple Circus (animal-free, IIRC) comes to town another time.

Saying the RB abuses animals is not a viewpoint it is an accusation. One, I might add, that they defended themselves successfully against in federal court.
