I made my run this morning at Bilo in Huntersville. There were no crowds at 8:30 am, but I suspect it will be mayhem this afternoon and the stores will be emptied out of certain items. I didn't need toilet paper, but I did need a bag of kitty litter.

LOL!! My sleds are ready , got a dozen of them in the garage. Funny, I got them for free from Food Lion 3 yrs ago. They couldn't sell them so they gave them away! Went there last night & they were stocking up for today's rush.

Got my milk, bread, eggs & toilet paper...we're ready!

OMG I have nothing - not even bread. All I have are boogie boards, a half gallon of milk, a new bottle of gin, a few crusts left in the bread bin. I'm going to starve Help

I'll just stop by French Quarter after work and enjoy some salt/pepper wings with a Long Ice Tea and see if it will snow. Too much speculation for nothing.

There is nothing that I need at the supermarket--I will be avoiding the mayhem and rather focus on meeting the ladies afterwork for good LIT.

smclarke4, you better go to the store. I went shopping last week and stocked up. I was going to wait a couple of days. Until they said there was a chance of snow. Now I am going to get one gallon of milk and possibly a run to the library. I have firewood, flashlight, food, candles (in glass), some not, no shovel, live in an apartment. I also have netflix, some history books, extra blankets, board games, and general necessities. I will be getting a couple gallons of water. What I will also be purchasing is batteries (dollar tree), water (dollar tree), milk (wal-mart), strike a fire (to start a fire), this is for my fireplace, and my rental payment. Making sure the eviction process does not start during the storm. Lol In the future I will be purchasing a small generator. Another I will be looking for is a glass holder for small taper candles. If it is not found. I will only use the ones in glass if the lights go out and my flashlight.
