Hello,
A rock managed to make ~12" crack across my windshield and now I'm needing it replaced. My ins deductible is $500 so it probably wouldn't be worth going through them.

Has anyone had any experience with any local replacement companies? Any recommendations?

PM me as specifics aren't allowed :-)

Thanks!

We use Safelite through work. Always quick, courteous, and come to us. Depending on what you need besides the glass (gaskets, etc...) should run between $200 and $300.

See if you have glass coverage. I've had a few windshields and a side window replaced with full coverage

I have full coverage, the latest winter storm cracked my windshield. My insurance company said it was an "act of god" and paid for the entire thing. I didnt even have to pay a deductible.

I'd call your insurance agent and ask him if they would cover the full amount, whats it going to hurt to ask?
